Kimberly comes to York Management after several years working for the Louisville Science Center as their Group Sales and Events Manager. While there, she produced 15 events a year, including the Center’s annual black-tie gala, and ThunderBlast, a “Thunder over Louisville” event which routinely draws more than 3,000 parents and kids. She also solicited all the sponsorships and managed a staff of over 100 volunteers.

Before working for the Louisville Science Center, she worked on sponsorships and event marketing at the Kentucky State Fair Board, coordinating over 40 exhibitors and three performance stages for the Kentucky State Fair. She also worked as Campus Break Event Coordinator for Indiana University Southeast in New Albany, where she created special events, negotiated entertainment contracts, supervised vendors and managed the budget for student council throughout the year.

She earned her B.S. in Marketing from Indiana University, where she was president of the university’s chapter of the American Marketing Association.

Today, in addition to her work responsibilities, she serves as a Board member for the Friends of the Waterfront.
